  1. My neice has just started a degree at Liverpool uni, that is what she wants to be, she had good grades in A level maths, English and  science and was accepted, Human biology and chemistry helps if she wanted to go down the pharmacy route (or so my niece said)

  2. As many sciences as possible. Make sure she works hard in maths and english and try to take geography cause i think that's a science.

  3. All three sciences separately is very important, Higher maths, possibly PE for more about how muscles and the body works?

But its the A levels that will be more important for this type of job. So for A Levels Biology is a must, chemistry almost defiantly, Maths and further maths. Physics will also help on getting points for university, but always choose Chemistry above Physics in this case. Hope this helped :)

  4. Definitely the 3 core ones of maths, english and science.  But she should be looking to get a lot of GCSE results at level A to C.  It's more the grades than the subject at GCSE level that is important.

Then at college 3 A-levels, minimum grade B but hopefully straight A's.  Entry to University will depend on grades and the subjects they were in.

Personally to be a doctor/surgeon I'd take A-levels in Maths, Biology, and English.

If you're not sure ask the head of year at her school.  You could even get advice from one of the universities that do medical degrees.

    Good luck to her

  5. Take as many science (biology, chemistry and physics) and maths (algebra, geometry, trigonometry and calculus) courses as possible

  6. Well there's nothing really at school to specifically do with doctors.

I'd tell her to steer clear of things like Drama, Child Development that type of thing. If she chooses more acedemic subjects like History or Geogrpahy that'll put her in good stead for when she moves onto things at college. At college there's a wider range of subjects to choose from, so she can focus on biology...or whatever she needs to be a doctor! I'm not good at this type of thing! I'm just guessing that's what doctors need!

At school, they already do science so it's hard to focus on just one subject.

    Hope this helps :)

    x

  7. As many as possible I should think Sera

  8. Nothing. She's gonna fail in life.

    English, Science & Maths.

Have a chat with a college tutor or something.
