  1. American universities put a lot of emphasis on standardized test scores, such as the ACT or SAT, maybe even more than high school GPAs. Consider that fact when applying. Is that a requirement in Canada?

  2. ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....go on to the universities website?!-

  3. Read this

  4. The vast majority of colleges don't have a minimum GPA requirement. Sure, the majority of applicants may have a 4.0, but there are definitely other factors considered that can be your saving grace.

    - SAT scores

    - Extracurricular activities

    - The rigor of your schedule (any honors or AP classes?)

    - Admissions essay

    - Teacher recommendations

ETC. Do your best for the rest of your high school career in every way, and don't lose heart. If all else fails, you can go for a year or two to junior college, get your GPA up, and transfer in.
