  1. Geelong at no stage seemed to be destined to win as a football team, however Geelong has a reputation and the players there are number 1 in the comp.

It was a great game on Fremantles behalf, and Geelong are just lucky that they only have to play 45 mins of a game and still win.

It was a massive shame that Matthew Pavlich did miss the kick, as it would have been great to see Freo get over the Cats after the effort they had put in.

  2. It's stupid Pavlich's fault. I hope he gets the cut next week after missing a very easy goal. I wish Geelong will lose. I really do.

  3. Of course!!! I came in when the Dockers were 38 points up and was like what the...?!!! Then the Cats kicked 6 goals.

Then the Cats kicked 3 points in the 3rd... what was going on?

Glad Geelong won though... got 2 out of 2 tipping so far :)

  4. Geelong could have won by alot

i think geelong r at the stage where they are gettin tired but i think they will be at there best if not they arent gonna be a threat to many teams

  5. The negative is the very best of Freo is unable to unseat the very worse of Geelong - although its only by a point.

The positive for Geelong is that they can still find ways to win despite playing badly.

The positive for Freo is their very best is good enough to match it with the very best. All it reinforce is that there's little culture of excellence at the club to compete every week.

    .

  6. No Go The Dockers ther where unlucky

  7. After the Tigers beat them by 64 pts, i didnt think the dockers would get near the cats, but the dockers played well and were a bit unlucky

  8. several geelong players during the week said they all pulled up very sore and tired after the sydney game, and found it hard to get up for this weeks game. they were a bit flat, but such a talented and great side they are, found a way to dig there way outa that tight tough tussle once again. thats the signs of a fantastic side.    and freo also flooded the corridor last night and blocked the style that geelong love ito play. dockers did there homework and almost pulled it off. ablett was sieged upon all nite also.

  9. I was shocked....I got Collingwood wrong on my tips and thought ,,,here I go 2 wrong already..  :(

It's going to be a hard year for tipping this year...not that any other year was easy..lol  I'm a shocking tipper.

  10. I thought Fremantle must've just prepared extra hard to try and beat the team dominating the comp, and Geelong got a bit lazy on the basics.

It's probably good for Geelong to get run down so close, so they'll concentrate more and know they're not invincible.

  11. Yes, I was surprised that Fremantle got so close.

But I was so pleased the Dockers lost! Leading all day (& by as much as 39 pts at one stage!) to lose by just the solitary point - I loved it!!

Now they are whinging about losing 9 seconds off the stop clock! Harvey is rivalling Mick for whinging.

  12. freo were feral... just because they cant match geelong on skill they try bash them up to win! i like a bit of argy bargy but it was disgusting to see ablett getting punched, bumped and elbowed just because he is good... and even when he is going through the interchange gate, cmon...

this is the only reason why the margin was only 1 point, because freo were hanging off the geelong players...

  13. It was crazy! freo did bloody well 1st and 2nd quarter and then Geelong got scared.

Geelong played S**t was very disappointing. They didn't man up and how many time were they at the goals and they just couldn't do it.

So gald they won even if just by 1 point.

    GO THE MIGHTY CATS!!!

  14. Go Geelong, docker suck.

    Go GO GOOO!

(eagles are the best but yer, go geelongy cats)

  15. mm, well dockers threw it away.

i expected geelong to blow them away from the start.

    but they came back.

pavlich would kicked a goal 9/10 on the shot he hit the post on.

although it shouldnt have come down to the shot anyway.

either geelong played really really well [which joel selwood did],

    or fremantle threw it away.

    i think the second one.
