1. Harnessing Media Power

This is the best power that someone can have in this modern society. Media power, name recognition, it's something that Bruce Lee was particularly good at.

Sensationalism is something that he was a master of to harness the media to surround him.

The Philosophy behind it is to create a mystery around you and a quasi-myth surrounding your ability.

Bruce Lee once said, "Simplicity is the key to brilliance." Bruce's philosophies on the martial arts were influenced by this idea. His art was economical in the sense that there was very little wasted energy. Enough was enough.

When Bruce first released his essay, Liberate Yourself From Classical Karate, there was a huge back lash in the martial arts community. People thought, "Who is this jerk and who does he think he is?" Thirty plus years later, the success of mixed martial arts is a testament to just how far ahead of his time Bruce Lee was. He believed in his ideas and again, wasn't afraid to go against what was generally accepted, and sticking to his guns and believing in himself has left him the legacy of being probably the greatest martial artist of all time.

Anyway, I could go on and on. Bruce Lee is my hero and a great man who died well before his time.

one of his greatest philosophy is being like water. water symbolizes the ability to adapt. in life, change is constant and we as people also change bec. of advancement and science and technology. therefore, if we're like water we can adapt to life.. for example, if you put a water in a glass it becomes the glass, if you put it in a teapot, it becomes a teapot. get the point..??

1. Incredible drive and determination. Bruce never let anyone tell him he couldnt do something.
