What HDTV should I purchase with the following compenants, XBOX 360, DVD, Digital Cable and Surround Sound?

Nothing on your list (except potentially the XBox) is HD. Since you are buying an HDTV I hope you are planning on HD cable or satellite.

No point getting a 1080p model ... go for 720p/1080i.

Next issue is size. The determinating factor is where you plan to sit re the TV. Plan on a TV with a screen size about 1/2 - 1/3 the viewing distance. So for 9 ft you want a 37"- 50" TV.

Other than that, ensure as wide as election inputs and outputs as you can (ensure at least one HDMI input), HDCP compliance and look for the highest "contrast ratio" you can get for a TV the size you want and at a price you are comfortable with.

any one as long as it has the ability for the hd component cables on the back cos the 360 in hd is awesome
