The Roosevelt and JFK style democrats? Who believed in freedom and civil liberties of everything we have earned, but would also kick @ss when needed be! And were not afraid of any other countries, terrorist nations other anyone that would try and s***w us. FDR must be rolling in his grave!

  1. The hippies of the 60's have moved in.

    Democrats now think they are Robin Hood. They welcome in thousands of illegal immigrants, cower to the Muslims, steal from people who have legally made money to fund new welfare programs etc etc..

    They seek to expel religion, welcome relative moralism, and ultimately sell America out..

  3. The old Democrats were more of a machine. Note that JFK's advisers reluctantly offered the Veep to Johnson when the numbers weren't looking good. LBJ "delivered" the Texas votes in 1960 to squeak past Richard Milhous, but in the process relinquished the Speaker of the House job. Not to worry, Texas passed a special law that the empty seat due to a Federal office does not require a special election to fill the seat. The Boston-Austin Axis. Odd, JFK's inner circle seriously considered changing the Veep for 1964 because LBJ was too intrusive.

    Modern Republicans are focused because of concentrated wealthy donors feeding the media machine.

    Today, the Democrats are their own worst enemy with a multitude of special interest factions trying to blunt momentum. The special interest does equate to what lobbyists perform, but the PACs could and should wait until after the election. In modern politics the lobbyist is the influential voice after the politician gets the job.
