  1. I can't watch Utube because of my slow phone connection.  I'll be watching the answers you get with interest so's to get an idea of what's being viewed.  Sounds interesting.

  2. Most of them are just normal animals that someone took a photo of when they were wet and angry.  People breed hairless dogs and cats - it must have been the result of a mutation originally, but it's one that's been maintained ever since through selective breeding.

  3. What happened? well, man got this idea he could do things to animals and not pay for the consequences. Some of the creatures are normal but with a lucky photo shot. Some though are the result of cruelty by their owners. There are a number of grossly overweight cats and dogs and one poor dog that is so painfully thin with the worst case of mange I have ever seen. The rest seem to be bizarre dog and cat breeds that some human malcontents have developed for their own poisonous amusement. The most interesting is the Chinese lady with the huge, horny, sebaceous cyst on her forehead. And here we all are gawping at them because we have nothing better to do. What's happened, you tell me.

  4. Most those pictures were taken from a yearly contest to find the "World's Ugliest Dog." Most of it is in well within standard genetic deviation.

Others are just pictures with forced perspective, and others are just photoshopped (the unimaginably overweight bulldog, for example, that is apparently not effected much by gravity).

So that link is just the result of someone stealing (because I am rather sure he didn't get the AP's permission for those) a bunch of pictures a making a 3rd rate video out of them. Nothing mutational about it.

  5. Dogs and cats of different ages and breeds, some with unusual faces or deformities, overweight or odd-looking, hairless, unusual facial expressions, and one bat. Not a nice sight.
