What Happens When You Buy Some Thing From eBay?

I have never been on eBay before and I was looking for a PS3. And I wanted to know: What happens when you buy anything from ebay? Do they send whatever you bought to you, then you send them their money, or is it the other way around? I don't know; can you help me?

you pay ebay and they give the money to the person sending it when you get it

buy by paypal you would need your credit card

then make the purchase then wait a couple of weeks and then its send to you

You give PayPal your money, then PayPal gives the person their money. Then the person who auctioned the item either shipps it themselves, go's to an e-bay store(Or some one who make a living by selling stuff on e-bay) but usually people take it to fed-ex or something like that. so it's pretty hard to get ripped off on e-bay. basically thats it, hope i helped!!
