  1. i personally only skate in ridell boots,

and i find that paramount blades are best.

they have an amazing rocker(for spins) and toepick.

  2. I would suggest either of these:

    With blades:

  3. Unlike some other boot brands, Harlick doesn't offer a huge variety of levels of boots.  If you check their site (harlick.com) they offer their classic model as their lowest level boot, which is rated for beginning freestyle.

It sort of depends on how hard you are on boots, height and weight.  A skater at your level may be very hard on their skates (my stepdaughter trashed her Riedells quickly at your level and she's not a big person!) and a softer boot like the classic may not last long and they may want to move up a level in boots, whereas a skater who isn't as hard on them might do just fine.  The only stock Harlick's I've had I think were high testers and I broke them down pretty quickly.  I've been very happy with the customs though -- the only boots I've ever had that don't make my arches cramp up!  I would talk to an experienced Harlick retailer at a skate shop, or even call Harlick directly.  They're very helpful and a cool family-run business.  :)

  4. i use ridell
