What Has Been Your Favorite Race To Watch This Year?

Mine was the Subway Fresh Fit (400 or 500 I don't remember) at Phoenix. Jr. led the most laps (I think I am probably wrong but I don't give the point being he led) and there was like a 50-lap battle for the lead between Dale Jr. and his former car. It was the first fuel mileage race and I love fuel mileage races. You never know who will win. And then Jimmie gets Hendrick Motorsports' first win of 08! 2nd is obviously Michigan, then Daytona, then Bristol.

  1. I kinda enjoyed the Gatorade Duel

  2. I was in Phoenix it was great to see Jimmie J win, and I was in Vegas also, Dale Jr had a great race there...and Michigan yeah it was a fuel mileage race thing, but heck Dale Jr won!!! Daytona was great also...

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  3. Anything other than NASCAR now. These C.O.T. cars are boring to watch, there aren't any intangibles anymore. It is just like watching IROC every week.

  4. I'd have to go with Jr's win. I love coming online the next day and reading all the crazy things people said about his win and the circumstances surrounding it. Go 88!

  5. I would have to say I loved the excitement of both Richmond and Talladega and of course that push by the Penske guys to win Daytona.  That was something.  Most people know I have been upset with the new surface at Bristol and I would have to say Atlanta was a bit of a let down.

    Have a nice day!

  6. Bristol, RIR, M'ville, Talladega, and I'm sure Daytona this weekend will top them. I got a good feeling.

  7. Darlington, that was one of the best races the whole year, and it kept me watching the whole race, something most the other races have failed to do.

EDIT: Loganofan, just delete the first part of the question.

  8. mine would have to be the 500 and the Talladega race.

  9. The Ohio truck race and the Michigan Truck Race.

  10. Kyle Busch didn't win at Richmond so get your facts strait winter glory and my first would be Richmond because Kyle Busch made a complete loser of himself their haha that kid kills me

Ok well just forget the first part

  11. mine will be oh i hate nascar it stinks

  12. Every race JR lost, so all of them except Michigan. Daytona was good because Newman won!!!!!!!!!!

  13. You mean you love fuel mileage races because it's the ONLY way JR is going to win this year...and it takes all the skill out of it and so obviously he is good when no skill is involved. That is what you meant to say.

    My favorite was RICHMOND

  14. Any race that Tony Stupid wrecks in... Ha, ha, ha..... or any race Kyle Bush doesn't win...

  15. Phoenix

    Talladega

    Martinsville

    Bristol

    Daytona July(?)

  16. I found my favorite races to be Dover 400 since I was there live and last weeks Lenox Tools 301.

South Boston Speedway in the Camping World East Series which Brian Ickler won.

  17. My favorite race to watch this year was the Coca-Cola 600. Usually its a boring race, but this year was very competitive and seemed to have a good example of comers and goers throughout the night. The first 200 laps had 5 cars up front that weren't more than 2 seconds apart, and these 5 didn't even factor into the finish! At first, it looked like Kyle Busch was going to check out on the field,  but then he was caught and it looked like Brian Vickers or Kurt Busch would walk away with the race and they both crashed before half way. Midway through, Jr took the lead and was driving away from everyone until he had a flat tire, then it opened the race back up for Kahne, Stewart, and Busch to race for the win. Fuel mileage added into the excitement, then when Tony Stewart was on his way to the win, he gets a flat tire and Kasey Kahne wins it!

It certainly was a crazy night.

  18. Well, I must say the best one in my opinion is The one at Michigan. Why? Because Jr. won! But besides that, the one at Bristol. I have nothing against any track but, I hate any of the races Kyle Busch won. :-(

  19. I would have to say Daytona when Kurt literally pushed Ryan into the lead and cost him his shot at winning the biggest race of the year. Some of these drivers DO care what the owners think and what a win at a Daytona or Indy would mean to them, it was Penskes first in NASCAR at Daytona so it was something special.

  20. Daytona.

  21. By Far it comes down to three races:

Coke 600 -- over the last 25 - 30 laps you had no idea who was going to win.

Daytona 500 -- how can you bet against a last lap pass for the win.

Crown Royal 400  at Richmond -- Denny Hamlin going for perfection then blows a tire, recieves the bonehead of the year award (stopping on track), and then all chaos ensueing afterwords. kept you on the edge of your seat.

  22. I liked Richmond the most only because Kyle Busch spun Jr. out (HAHAHA). Just to add insult to injury, I believe the 18 finished 2nd in that race. Sucks for Jr.

  23. any race that kyle busch bows to the jr fans and upsets the jr fans, i dont support his driving but anything thats upsets jr nation makes me happy.wait i guess thats every race I love nascar

  24. Even though Matt wasn't in it, I was a big fan of the Budweiser Shootout.  The battle between Kurt Busch and Tony Stewart was just classic!

  25. Coke 600 (was there in person).  Jr led a load of laps, Vickers led a lot,  Smoke looked like he was going to dominate and win easily...but the 9 ended up in victory lane.  Even with Jr wrecking it was still a very entertaining race, lots of twists and turns.

    Rounding out the top 5:

    Bristol

    Daytona

    Michigan

    'Dega.

  26. Michigan (jr) and  Bristol (RCR 123)

  27. You won't like this answer, but Darlington. Kyle won, it was the week after tangling up with Jr. at Richmond, and the whole place was booing him, and throwing things at him, I busted up when he won, he pissed off so many people, it was a beautiful day to be a Rowdy fan...lmao...that kid kills me!!

**I won $50.00 on that race, I knew in my heart of hearts he was going to be h**l-bent on winning, I saw it in his eyes.**

  28. I LIKED THEM ALL

    CUP NATIONWIDE AND TRUCKS

    h**l YEAH

    GOOD ONES COMING UP TO!!!!!!!!

  29. Well, michigan is my worst race of the year.  I would say my favorite would have to be the coke 600.  It was a very surprising finish.  Smoke led with 3 laps to go and didn't win the race.  And it was funny to see jr lead a lot of laps and not win the race.

Winter glory gave a good answer. The drivers that tick jr nation off the most are on my top list of favorites.
