Question:

What Home School Program are YOU in?

I'm currently enrolled in Seton Home Study, and I'm not happy with the program at all. I'm looking for a home schooling program that isn't based on religion, and is preferrably done online. Please and thanks!

  4. We use Sonlight and love it. It is Christian and not online.

  5. you might want to try out Global Student Network you get  2 pick your courses and it is not based on religion

  6. I used Seton Home Study for tenth grade last year and it was quite rigorous--I didn't care for it.

    Currently, I am enrolled in Mother of Divine Grace Home Study and I love it.

    If you enjoy reading books (without having to worry too much about reports) then this is the program for you.

    You can use it through a free virtual public charter school (if your state allows them), or purchase the curriculum to use on your own as an independent HS'er.  (The former is not homeschooling - it's public school at home.)

    I highly recommend that you look into http://keystonehighschool.com/

    They are an accredited online high school! (this means that your diploma has the same value as a traditional schools diploma (private or public))

    Their program can be 100% online or 100% correspondence(through the mail.) Both are NON-religious based curriculum! I use the online program and I LOVE IT!  You have real teachers that are there to assist you if you have any questions what so ever!  You use the textbooks that a normal private or public school would use, and your course work is submitted online!  The textbooks are sent through the mail though.  They have also recently started using the Digital textbook so that is also an option.  Here is the link for more information on their digital textbooks:

    However I like using the traditional textbooks because I like to physically see and feel the words if you know what I mean.  Their program is 100% NOT BASED ON RELIGION!
