  1. some of the human actions that cause global warming are every day pollution like driving and things that send smoke into the air

  2. Mmmm, between 1960 and 2000, the world population doubled to 6 billion people. That's a lot of C02.

  3. Humans have not caused global warming. The earth has gone through and will go through periods of warming and cooling. The sad fact many people don't want to face is there is very little we can do to influence these cycles. CO2 is not the only greenhouse gas and is not the most abundant greenhouse gas. The most abundant greenhouse gas is water vapor, but you don't see anyone clamoring to remove water vapor from the atmosphere. CO2 is a necessary part of our environment.

The atmosphere and the forces that act upon it are currently too complex to accurately model. h**l, the weather report is off most of the time and they only look a week or so out. Solar radiation cycles and other effects are much more impactful than CO2.

That said, we as humans do need to be more mindful of our environment - land use, etc. and should strive to be much less wasteful.

  4. We didn't cause global warming.  It was always there.  We just aren't helping it.  In fact, we're speeding up the process, due to deforestation, smog from factories, and driving our gas guzzling cars and such.

  5. the earth is like a body it needs to clean it self off once in a while however, we humans are not makeing the process easier.

  6. Very little if any.  Our sun goes through natural cycles where it gives off more energy at some times than others.  The ice caps of Mars are actually melting at a faster rate than those of the Earth.  Last I checked there is no human life on Mars.

  7. Global warming is but a component, in a group of destructive forces at work such as ;

    deforestation

    ,desertification,

    soil and water contamination ,

irresponsible or wasteful utilization of bio resources

    and air pollution.

which we are responsible for ,

and which add to the effects of Global warming

  8. Al Gore blowing hot air.

  9. I don't think human actions cause global warming!  The Earth has always had natural cycles of cooling and warming and always will.

  10. Boy oh boy, people still really do not know what global warming is as I see the first answer to your question.  Of course human actions have caused global warming, we are exponentially speeding up the process.  Some of them...

Manufacturing processes - factories emissions from producing materials, products.

Cutting down the rainforest - it is a huge stabilization of the worlds climate

The obscene number of cars we are driving every day, emitting vapours into the air.

The misuse of power - 4 tvs in a house all on at the same time, lights not needed to be on, computers left on all day.  Hydro production has a terrible emissions.

Land development-cutting down trees, paving, building homes and businesses.

This has all been happening since the end of World War 2, it has caught up with us now.  These are just the basic ones.  And humans are completely responsible.  The worlds population and demand for resources, products, and the quick fix, has been putting a trememdous strain on our planet for decades.  It will only get worse, especially if people are so naive of the issues and what they can do to help.  It is really a no brainer, yet most of us are still sitting on our butts overwhelmed by what we can do today.  It will take years to repair what we have done.  If we don't we will eventually all get so sick the human population will collapse.  Extreme you say?? It has already started.  As the environment becomes worse, so will cancers of all kinds, and birth defects, making the genetics of our population weak.  Same as what happens to animals. Every living organism is affected the same. Some just take longer than others to be affected.
