.....when Harvey Dent dies why couldn't Lt. Gordon and Batman blame the deaths on the Joker? Is it because then that would be wrong and the Joker could easily get the truth out about the deaths?

  1. That might be it, because they make us assume that the Joker had been arrested after Batman left him dangling off the building (though he could have used more of his 'minions' to kill Dent for him)... I think it is because Batman thinks it is his fault that Dent died and he is too honest of a man to blame it on someone else... but then again maybe I'm just too analytical. :D

P.S. I'm a girl and I got it! and Flik has a good point :D oh, and as for Long hair enthusiast's comment: I have no idea what theater you were at but it must have been full of crazy people. The movie ROCKS!

  2. By the end of this movie I had no idea about anything!!!

others i were with had no idea what or where the movie was going or went !!!

    HELP!!

what a waste of time !!

  3. because that happened after the joker was taken into custody by the swat members... and the only people by harvey when he died was batman and gordon

  4. (Note: I am a girl)

I think it's because it refers back to the whole watch the hero become the villain of the piece thing.

And logically you can't blame Lt. Gordon next logical choice is Batman because the Joker was elsewhere at the time and there are people who know that.

  5. same with the girl above me ..i'm usually good with understanding a movie but the movie was major confusing and out of control. They made it way too long, even audience were groaning when Joker got out of the prison. "Awe there we go again!!" As for the end, meh I could careless...

  6. Here are some reasons hope I helped!:

First of all Joker wasn't there when it happened, he was arrested before it happened, it doesn't matter if he was blamed for the death of Harvey because he killed so many people and will be blamed for that and will be in Arkham prison for like forever!, and Harvey might not be dead because Two Face wasn't used to his capacity yet onscreen (also Aaron Eckhart who plays Harvey Dent/Two Face has a signed contract for a third Batman movie directed by Nolan).

  7. NO idea...

  8. I guess they could've blamed the deaths on the Joker but Batman would still have to be cast out because when Dent called Gordon over to 250 52nd Street to save the family, Gordon brought his force, had them set up a perimeter and told them that there was a situation.  This was after the Joker was already taken into custody, so they couldn't blame it on him.  As Batman was the only other person there, he decided to take the blame for not just taking Dent's family but for killing those people.

    Hope this helps!!
