What I need as a Foreign student to work in Australia???

Hi to everyone

I'm an undergraduate student of economic in southamerica and next semester im going to study as a foreign student in Macquire University, Sydney. Unfortunately some family problems occur and I don't have enough money to live at sydney for 6 months and I really want this travel so I need your help. I have very good grades and I have a good work experience so I think I could work to support my living in Australia.

So my question is...what I need to do that? what visa or documents i need for be considered when i seach for a job?

  1. once you have paid your fees and your course has started you can apply or a work permit that will allow you to work part time (20 hours a week )while you are studying and full time when school is on holidays

  2. As your primary reason to visit is for studying you will need a student visa. On a student visa you are allowed to work but there is a limit to the amount of hours.
