What do I use to record the audio from the mixer, and what other things i need?I use Krystal to edit my audio.

  1. You may want to do a headset instead. It can be like herding cats, getting that many people not to pop into their mics, or over-modulate, or create their own sound effects by scratching or tapping on their mic.

You just need to run your mixer into the soundcard on the back of your CPU.  Launch your editing program to cature the sound.  Make your edits, add your other stuff, and save it as an MP3 file.

Then it's ready to upload. You'll need someplace to host it. If you know how to write RSS, you can have it on your own website, but there are dedicated podcast hosting sites, and all of the biggies like GoDaddy are also offering it. Along with your podcast files, have a place for show notes and listener comments.

You'll upload every episode  to the same URL. The RSS will enable your fans to subscribe and it will allow you to list yourself on itunes and other places.
