  1. 1) A long train-each carriage is a different month and the childs photo is put in their month with the number written underneath it!

    2) Balloons-again each one a different month!

    3) Birthday Cakes-one per number eg we have 2, 3 and 4 year olds-then photos of each child in the right cake with their birthday written underneath-when its their birthday they then move on to next cake!

Just two links out of many that are out there with birthday bulletin board ideas.  You can also look in school supply catalogs and such for ideas.  Teacher's stores usually have many many birthday sets...most only cost about $6.00 and it's worth it have considering how much time it takes you to make one.  :-)  Then you can laminate it and use it year after year.  I know our Dollar Store even has birthday bulletin board sets.  Staples has birthday set or two as well.  Have fun!  :-)

  3. Lots of colors and fun shapes!  You can use a birthday board for learning shapes and colors, along with their birthday.  Depending on what kind of party supply stores or craft/hobby stores you have access to, a lot of places have pre-cut shapes.  You could also buy a cookie cutter to use as a pattern.  Like find a birthday hat, or balloon shape.  It can be fun and educational for the kids!
