  1. ID rewuired varies from airline to airline.  You can sometimes fly on your drivers licence (new style), but more often than not you'll need yr passport.

There are 7 centres in the that will issue you a passport onthe same day.

Here is the link for them:

  2. if your not from Europe you have to have a passport

  3. Stay home son.

  4. Looks like you're staying at home then!

...or, how about this for a really crazy idea - apply for a new passport!!!

I bet you wish you'd thought of that radical solution!!

  5. it must have a photo

  6. Photo ID is all you usually need.

I know people who have used a bus pass

Should tell you on you booking confirmation but if in doubt ask the airline.

  7. It depends entirely on the airline. Check their website.

  8. i dont think you need a passport to fly to ireland as long as you are a citzen of the united kindgom

  9. your prob best speakin to the airline company.  We flew from stanstead to dublin and all i used as ID was my driving license but that was Ryanair's policy. Best ask the airline so you dont get false information.

  10. use a peddalo from Blackpool

    takes 22 hrs non stop

  11. Drink lots of guiness and get pissed!

  12. I have personally seen people turned away from airline desks having tried to use alternative ID (I have seen, for example, Union photocards, photo student id and a non-photo driving licence refused).  The bottom line really is that until the UK has Schalken type fully open borders with other EU countries then a passport is always gonna be necessary.  Also, I suspect your problem if you do elect to try and travel without one is gonna be less going out there, but rather coming back.  I know of no one who has been successfully able to re-enter the UK without a passport....
