What IS Naval Science?

I got my schedule for Spoto High School today, I requested JROTC, but on my schedule it says Naval Science? I'm not sure what this is, or if it's JROTC related, or what? Help? What is Naval Science?

Naval Science is just like Military Science.  It is the study of the navy and it's impact on well, pretty much the world.  Yes, it part of your JROTC program.  Good luck.

Ok well I took Naval Science and I have three years left of it. I'm in NROTC in college. Naval science is the study of our navy's history, strategies, operations, engineering, tactics, oceanography, leadership, etc., etc.

Naval science is your schools Navy JROTC. At my school we have Air Force JROTC and its called Aerospace science.
