What If A State Goes Bankrupt?

I live in Quebec, the most filthy liberal state in all of north-america.

We are indedted to 120% our GDP.

1 out of every 5 persons work for the government.

We have too many social programs and government insurance programs. Like 5$ a day child-care, free universal health-care, parental insurance which pays for a 1 year and a half parental leave, pays for the diapers etc. Our government even hands out $1000 to each rich Quebec who buys an exepensive SUV.

All at the expense of the empoverished tax payer who gets poorer and poorer every year.

Many predict that the province will go bankrupt.

What will happen if the province of Quebec goes bankrupt ? Will it drag Canada along the way.

By the way, Alberta is the strongest economy in all of North America with an average GDP of $70,000 per person.

My cousin makes $250,000 a year with his construction business. But when he lived in Quebec, he was harassed by government, inspectors, IRS, so he decided to try his chance in Alberta and he hit the lottery there.
