What if George Washington and his forces had not escaped after losing the Battle of Long Island? What do you think?

  1. We'd all be enjoying tea and crumpets.


  2. We'd probably have gotten our independence at some point in time, but our country wouldn't be so large, and we probably wouldn't be a superpower.

  3. I suppose there's a chance we'd be singing "God Save The Queen" or somesuch refrain rather than "...bless America".
