I mean honestly...Instead of bashing Obama and the Democrats, please explain why this would make you feel safe in this country.

  1. OK, as everyone "skirts" the issue.  I won't.  I consider myself an independent and now that Palin has been chosen, I have a LOT of homework to do.  One of the main notes about McCain is his age and the probability that he will only run for one term.  That troubled me because I don't want to have to worry about a President that only plans to be around short term.  I believe a President should think long term.  With that notion, I believe that McCain's VP pick should be someone Americans feel comfortable with taking over the job when he is gone OR if he can't carry out his term.   Right now, I'm terrified that Palin is lacking in comparison to the Obama/Biden ticket.  Notice I said Obama/Biden.  Everyone who knows about politics knows that it isn't only the responsibility of one person in the White House.  It is very important to consider the people he/she has around them.    Like I said, I have a LOT of homework to do.  I have NO idea who this woman is.  I hope it isn't some desperate effort by McCain to draw women or younger voters.

  3. Yes I would infact I woudl feel better about her being presdant over Obama she has mroe experance..

  4. Because I believe she has a better understanding of the job of President set down in Article Two of the Constitution and she has experience as Chief Executive of her State. Senator Obama's acceptance speech at his party's convention tells me he knows absolutely nothing about those duties described in Article Two and has no intention of carrying out those duties. He is running for the position of Federal Wizard King and that office is not on the ballot!

  5. Alaskans seem pretty pleased with her. Approval ratings of 80 to 90%.

  6. yes i would.....it's because I agree with her positions on important matters, and I disagree with Obama's. I have no problem with Barak Obama as a person. I think his family is beautiful and they seem to me like the kind of family we would have over to eat dinner with and play games.....and be able to talk about important matters, disagree about them, and still be friends. But as far as who I will vote for, that goes beyond friendship matters and into what I think is best for our country....and the beliefs that Palin holds, are in line with my belliefs. Either way...I think this is a very exciting election and it is an honor to witness history in the making...no matter which ticket wins.

oh....I would feel safe with Palin because she wouldn't take my right to bear arms to defend myself away. And she would let our soldiers win this war with their heads held high rather than make them run.

  7. Today, John McCain put the former mayor of a town of 9,000 with zero foreign policy experience a heartbeat away from the presidency, scary huh. 9,000 people in the hot bed of politics...where have all the reindeer gone? Dont they count in the equation?

  8. I won't not at all.

  9. YES, she has more experience than Obama the empty suit.

  10. Way better than Obama!
