What Impact has each of these trade alliances and WTO on trade?

I have a business project I am working on about the European union. That was one of the questions. I'm not sure if it is even worded correctly, but if anyone knows anywhere that i could get information to help me answer this question, or even which trade alliances I'm looking at, it would be greatly appreciated. I've searched everywhere and could not find anything.

You can check out this documentary called "life and debt", it's about the debt in Jamaica, it also mentions stuff about the E.E.U.U, you may also look at another documentary, "black gold" there is alot about the WTO and the coffee beans of ethiopia.  Read the book "no nonsense guide to globalisation"(the book is like a 100 and some pages)

On what impact has each of these trade alliances? Here is the list of influential international organization: NATO, EU, UN, OPEC, GATT, and the WTO. You can search the web for each of these organizations, and if you type it in goggle or here in yahoo, you’ll find some useful sites that answers your question. But basically, they regulate the workings of the economy of each member state. In particular, the WTO and OPEC when it comes to oil producing countries, they put the tariff and trade barriers as decided but each member states. However, cooperation and compliance are necessary, non-compliance meant economic embargo. I suggest you research in International Relations, and try reading some no-governmental organizations that campaign against the effect and influence of these organizations.
