  1. Only term...about $25,000 per year for $600,000. policy.

  2. Yes

    Almost all 1

While talking about a decent policy, you should keep "decency of age" in mind also.

Don't go for heavy insurances at this age, because risk allowances will be higher, not only due to age but also for possible underlying medical problems. Better if you take a unit link policy with inbuilt insurance for that age. Even if you pay more risk allowance for more cover, you will find difficulties in taking claims in case of mishap. So don't go greedy, be decent & take a decent scheme. Good Luck

  3. There are many, many reputable insurance companies who provide life insurance to someone your age.  You should check the ratings of the ones you are interested in at AM Best and Moodys.  Make sure you are getting a standard policy without special conditions and find an agent willing to consult with you.

Regardless of any answers you may see, there is no one correct policy for everyone.  You need to take into account how much coverage you need right now and how long you would like it to last for.   Any good agent will work with  you on a needs analysis.

As was stated by others, term will give you the lowest premiums.  That said, term insurance does not tend to carry any flexibility, will not grow to keep pace with inflation and you will never have any equity in it.

    Good luck!

  4. There are plenty.  Find an agent and have him shop for you.  If you are in Florida, contact me.  Go online for health insurance and register at one of the sites.  You will hear from several agents.  You need an independent agent with access to many companies.  You need to know if you want term or permanent insurance and how much you can comfortably afford a month before speaking with an agent.  Your health will have a lot to do with it.

  5. There are many types of insurances-what kind of insurance are you looking to purchase?
