  1. A podcast is a show with episodes. When radio stations do it, they are usually letting you hear their morning show, but they take out all the songs. You just hear the jokes and news. Then the next day, there will be a new one. It's a rerun of each day's show, but without the songs.

Use a free podcast application like itunes to subscribe to the podcast. Itunes collects the episodes and saves them for you until you have time to listen.

You might like the Bugle. It's pretty funny but also smart. It's British so you get to feel like you're listening to something intelligent.

  2. Podcasting is online audio content that is delivered via an RSS feed. Many people liken podcasting to radio on demand. However, in reality, podcasting gives far more options in terms of content and programming than radio does. In addition, with Podcasting, listeners can determine the time and the place, meaning they decide what programming they want to receive and when they want to listen to it.

Listeners can retain audio archives to listen to at their leisure. While blogs have turned many bloggers into journalists, podcasting has the potential to turn podcasters into radio personalities.

  3. Hi Amie

If you search for podcasts through itunes store, then subscribe to the podcast you want, most radio podcasts are free.

It will then save it in iTunes and you can listen to it as often as you want. Subscribing should also mean it uploads the next weeks podcast when it becomes available.

There are loads available, take a look. Open iTunes, click iTunes Store, then on the left click podcasts.

    hope this helps.

  4. If you download it, you can listen again later on. Every time KISS 101 says a podcast is available, you can download that one without overwriting the old one & you can listen to each one as many times as you like. More info here - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Podcast
