what is a reasonable price to pay for renting a moving truck/van. We need to get one that is a fairly good size as we have a lot to move. We live in the Newmarket area. Thanks for any help!

  1. generally from a reputable company youll be lucky to get one for under £50 id say. but shop around, try and find a local rental company, not a chain, they tend to be cheaper.


  2. are you moving pretty much the contents of a house? if so, you should probably expect upwards of about £100/£150.

    go on google and search, or go on a compare website. dont take the first one, because there are some cheap ones out there.

    a good tip:you pay twice as much if you leave it where you drive it to, as the company has to get it back.

    Get a friend to go with you and get them to drive it back for you. give them a bottle in return or something. we recently had to move apartments, and would have paid £300 if my dad hadnt driven it up and back again. as it was, i think it came to about £100.
