What Is That Vietnamese Rice Porage Called?

Im Vietnamese and I know what its called but i just can't spell it. Its That white rice soup thingie that alot of Vietnamese people eat. My mom makes it really good and puts shrimp in it and stuff. Im just asking, What is that rice soup called again? Its like Chao or something.

But is like over cook rice, I think they make that in prison for inmate too but not with all the delicouse, shrimp or beef or even flavor in it. So is basically runny rice

Yeah, it's chao. I went to a Vietnamese restaurant a few days ago and I remember it was soo good! It's like porridge, but with more flavor and it's less thick.
