  1. newborn are the best because they will grow accustomed to your face and there wont be any confusion going on in the babies head

    hope this helps

  2. YOU should be at least 24.....

I understand you want a baby... but all the kids over 7 are in orphanages are there are there lives. EVERYONE wants a baby.... but so would i so... i dont know

  3. i would want a newborn, or as close to it so we could bond from early life on!

  4. newborn it will think that you are its mom

  5. when your ready

  6. 0-10 years old probly - if u mean the kid.

but if ur talking about u then probly 20

  7. i'd say late 20's... but really  i think it is whnever youre ready.. and by ready i mean there will be a father figure as well... and that you both are well off in your careers and are not struggling financially and will be able to provide lots and lots of love..... but for the baby.. i would say newborn.. but just remember all of the other children out there who dont have homes and nobody wants them becasue they arnt babies

  8. Most parents want newborns, because of the bonding factor -- but that leaves LOTS of children without a home who'd love to bond with you.

Just because a child is 1-2 years old doesn't mean they won't bond to you, it may be difficult, but if you take care of a child -- they'll NATURALLY bond to you over some time, regardless of how old they are.

Plus.. how many people remember what life was like before they were 5 or 6 years old? I don't remember much before then and I don't know many people who do. So if you adopt a child under 5-6, most likely.. as they get older, they'll only identify with YOU as their parent even though you adopted them (and not their real ones).

Good luck! I plan to adopt in the future too. <3

  9. when your in your 20's

  10. well, probably as soon as possible, so that you and the child can bond.

if its later in life, the child may feel some remorse as they leave their friends and anyone they care for.

  11. It depends on how old you are. You should be at least 23 years older than the child is. I would want to adopt a child under the age of 5. I think after that age depending on the child's history there may be problems.
