If Senator Clinton were to gain the White House, 2012 is her last chance, and she would be better suited to it if Senator McCain is elected.

If Senator Obama wins and does a bad job in the eyes of the country, it is more likely the Republicans would win back the White House in 2012.

I think if McCain wins she has a better chance.  The reason is if Obama gets in and does a typical Democrat job then they will crave a Republican again.

Yes, they can. They could better strategize their plan for her campiagn in '12 or '16. They underestimated Obama because they assumed they wouldn't have to fight hard because her last name is Clinton. You have to question the nuts who voted Bush in for the 2nd time though.

A McCain win fits Hillary better. It's very unusual for a sitting President to get challenged by someone within the party. Kennedy did it to Carter in 1980 and Reagan won. I think Reagan would have won anyway. If McCain wins she's not having to run against her own party's sitting President

If Obama wins he'll run for a second term that would mean it would be 2016 before Hillary got another shot and assuming Biden stayed VP for two terms he, not Hillary would be the better choice.

I think she has a better chance with a bad McCain administration than a bad Obama admin. If Obama does not do well it could easily be put under the blanket of all democrats but if McCain follows Bush and furthers the mess then of course the republicans are done and all democrats in general have a much better chance.

who cares.  either one would be better than pantsuits in the white house.  i'm a conservative but i would much rather see Obama in, because at least he is honest and heartfelt, even if I don't agree with what he stands for.  Hillary is just a lying fool who would kill her own to get in the white house
