I'm trying to find a time period for when native Americans came to North America, be in over the Bering Strait or "Pangaea". Anybody got anything?

  1. Scientists are having a hard time deciding on a firm date range.  The dates scientists originally thought the crossing to have occurred had to be revised because human remains were found throughout North/South America that predated the presumed crossing dates.  Those new dates then conflicted with the Ice Age dates, and would not have allowed people to cross and spread throughout N/S America in enough time to meet the scientists other dates. Scientists have also had to revise their theory to explain how people traveled so quickly throughout N/S America.  They are now saying people traveled along the coast by boat.

See all of these contradictions.  And this is just the beginning of all of the hypocrisy.  American Indians were created on this continent and have always been here since the beginning of time.

  2. I am sure that these two books have something. I read them a couple of years ago. They should be easy to locate:

"The Eternal Frontier" by Tim Flannery (Australia)

"A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson

  3. Around and between 20,000 30,000 years ago.

    Best of luck!!
