What Is The Safest Place To Invest Money?

I have a little saved up and want to invest the lowest risk way possible. I am hoping to buy a home in a couple years and do not want to lose any of my savings.

So what is the safest place to invest money?

There is no real 'safe' way to invest.  Everything has risk.  CDs are usually pretty safe since they are insured.  See my source below for an idea of why there are no 'safe' investments
