  1. The tallest "skyscraper," antennae included, is currently the Sears Tower at 527.3 meters.  However, the Burj Dubai building is expected to be completed in September of 2009 at a whopping 629 meters.

There are many concrete towers and guyed masts (like for radio) that surpass the heights of "skyscrapers."

There is some dispute over this topic because the Sears tower, without it's antennae, is actually shorter than the Taipei 101 building in Taiwan.  Some buildings contain "spires" rather than antennae, which can be consitered structurally relevant.  I'm a fan of the USA, so I'm sticking with Sears for now.

  8. Six Japanese broadcasting networks will work together to pay for a radio and television transmitter tower that will be the tallest tower in the world.  The tower will stand tall, reaching nearly 600 meters, which will make it taller than the 553-meter tall CN Tower in Toronto, Canada.  The New Tokyo Tower will be built in an old railway yard, with the company that owns the land also ready to pay for part of the construction of the tower. But the tallest one today is one in Tibet the Tibeti or however you spell it 101
