What Is This?? Should I Be Worried?

Question

So I shaved my pubic area yesterday, and today I can see all the little bumps where the hair is growing back and on the right side some of the bumps look a little bigger and are kinda red.. and they go clear down and then theres just like one random big bump at the top of the inside of my leg about an inch and half from all the other bumps.. Is this razor bumps.. or burn.. should I be concerned?? Its only on the right side..

Don't worry honey, those are only bumps from shaving. Those form because when you use a new, sharp razor, the razor cuts the hair at a very sharp angle, and when those hairs begin to grow again, they grow INTO the skin rather than through it. It will itch for a few days but you will be fine, I promise! I remember when I first got bumps from shaving when I was younger.. I almost had a heart attack!! lol :o]

No its normal after you shave there..It sucks.

When you shave your pubics, you are also shaving off the very tip of the hair folicle.  Thus, causing minor infection and discomfort.  Try cleaning the area with rubbing alcohol before and after shaving.  You will see a difference.
