What Is Your Favorite ROCKY Movie and Why?

My favorite one is Rocky IV. That is because I think Dolph (Ivan Drago) made the movie and to me he is my favorite of all of Rocky's enemies.

The scene where he killed Apollo Creed and says "If he dies, he dies" wow, what a powerful scene.

I also like the Soviet (Ivan Drago). "I must break you!"

A lot of Rocky fans do not like the 5th Rocky movie, but I think it was okay. Stallone had to put this because this is basically Stallone taking Mickey's place from a boxer to a trainer and also deals with family issues.

The speech Apollo gave about why he is going to fight Drago was classic.

My favorite one is Rocky IV because it came out when I was already a teenager and watched and watched a lot. I also liked III because of Hulk Hogan and Mr. T in it, although Clubber Lang was one nasty character.  

Then comes Rocky V. This was not a bad movie, it's just that we didn't see Rocky in the ring and maybe that's what caused it to be a lame movie. But the street fight was great! "Suit me for what!"

Rocky Balboa I think was a great ending to the saga. Adrian's death was a necessary touch to give it more emotion. It was not a credible situation but was nice.

I guess we won't get to see what Spaceballs called the "latest... Rocky Five... THousand".

Nothing beats Number Four for me. . . .Ivan Drago juicing on the 'roids, the cold stares, killing Apollo, "I must break you". . . . the greatest training montage ever ('roids vs old school snow/log/axe training)  . . . .great, great stuff!

It should be noted, though, that the greatest QUOTE from any of the movies is in ROCKY BALBOA. . .when Apollo's former trainer announces what Rocky's training regimen will be.  "Your legs are shot, your joints have calcium deposits, etc. . . . .so all we can do is train your punches to be killer atom bombs!" (forgive me if I'm a bit off on the quote, but I know I'm close)

Rock III- pure guilty pleasure

Rocky IV-lame. Propaganda film. Anyone who's trained knows free weights are better than a machine. Oh and the big bad Russian couldn't even hit that hard. Any good martial artist can hit that hard.

Rocky V- Not great, but not bad. Should have been Rocky III

Rocky Balboa- laughable. 75% flashback, some sappy c**p, formula, and a HIGHLY unbelievable ending.

Funny thing about even the bad Rocky movies is they are still contagious. It's probably the music and the desire to pull for the underdog.

Rocky III.  This one brought Mr. T to the world.  He was probably the greatest villain ever.  Who can forget that classic antagonizing line he gave to Tyne Daily?  And you have to love Thunderlips (aka Hulk Hogan).  Who were these two prior to Rocky III?

I used to like all of them when I was younger but then I grew up and realized that it was all fake and so now I don't like them as much anymore. Probably the best one out of them all is the first one and second to that would have to be the one w/Ivan Drago and thirdly I would say the one w/ Tommy Morrison

lol at the "any martial artist can hit as hard as drago comment"..even fedor, chuck or rampage can't punch that hard..

Probably rocky IV or 3, I didn't like the fact that apollo dies in the hand of a commy.

Edit: My name has no relation to Drago from the movie, but in the movie his punch IS incredibly strong.
