I prefer medium/big dogs. But if i had to choose a small dog, i would go with a shiba-inu.

I have two long-hair chihuahua's. Long-hair are so laid back and loving. And OMG smart. Best two dogs I have ever owned!!!! They love walks, baths, even getting blow dried. Easy to clean up after and take care of.

definately dachshunds. They are wonderful dogs if trained properly.

I have two Dachshunds, a longhair and a smooth, and they are definitely one of my favorite small breeds! I'm actually not really a fan of small dogs in general, but I make an exception for this breed, and a few others. I do like Papillons, Toy Fox Terriers, Cavaliers, and Italian Greyhounds as well. I would gladly bring any of those breeds into my family.

Dachshunds.  Want one?  lol.  I have a litter on the way....due NOW, but it's taking up my sleep patterns.  I love the long hair doxies, as they aren't as barky as the short hairs.

Chuggles!  They are sooooo cute and cranky!!!  they are a mix of puggles chihuahuas!  Shiba Inu are great dogs too!  They even use them as police dogs!
