What Is a Good Time For a Girl's 1200m ?

My best time is 4:20, which contributed to my distance medley team being #5 in the county. This year i am going to try to get around 4:00, becasue our team is going to try to get the gold.

Any suggestions on workouts/any excerises i can do to make me stronger and faster.? Out of the 4 of us, im the weaker one, so i need to step up my game and not let down my team. Any advice?

My Pr's are :

1600m- 6:00-6:10 range

1200m- 4:20

400m-72 seconds

3200m-14:50

  1. PRACTISE--> on a treadmill, go to the gym and just practise, practise practise...

    Keep your hands flat when running- no fists or you'll not be aerodynamic.

    Also, even if your not doing well that's no reason to quit. To step up your game encourage teammates or work out a strategy or something.

    Just try your hardest- even if you don't do as well as expected, I'm sure your team wont be too hard on you- it was just too hard for you is all. So just practise
