"Ethancy" is a word that doesn't exist.  "Ethnicity" is a word that is synonymous with "race", meaning what country you or your ancestors came from, and that's the only word I can assume you're trying to come up with, here.

Ethancy is technically not a word, but some use it anyway meaning nationality or a nationality mixture. Usually 2 different..for example Italian and Hispanic.
