What Is the Minimum wave size to do a bottom turn in surfing?

I guess you could do it in any size wave, the bigger the better, but I wouldn't try it in a small wave, try at least a 3 - 4 ft wave, and be careful if there's a coral  reef near by... =P  Good Luck!

I can be done in any sized waves. To do a long sweeping bottom turn like you see the pro perform you would need atleast a 3-4 foot wave.

Allthough it can be done in waves as little as 1-2 feet.

the smaller the wave, the shallower the bottom turn. there's really no minimum size. your first turn on nearly any wave will be the bottom turn, you just gotta practice it
