What Is the best and cheapest external hard disk drive to buy?

I need advice on buying an external hard disk. Like what are the best brands etc and where the cheapest can be found on the net?

You should have asked how much storage you needed. I work at Best Buy and i always reccomend a western digital brand or simpletech. YOu can get up to 320 gb for cheap and easy storage.

i just bought a 1tg from best buy on-line for about the same price as most 500 g that's prob best option plus just about all stores handle the same product and about the same prices
