    Well, technically, paramedics are still EMTs. But they are EMTs who have more training, can do more, and get paid more.

  3. A paramedic has a lot more training and is allowed to administer some drugs. An EMT generally rides along on an ambulance to help the paramedic. You can become an EMT with about 12 weeks of night school classes. It takes about 4 times as much to be a paramedic.

  4. a medic is an emt... just with higher level of training.. they can give the good drugs and do more inavasive procedures than any level of emt...
