What Job can a BFA get?

So i'm starting school this fall, majoring in Art, and i'm hoping to get into the Bachelor of Fine Arts program. I'm looking more towards Graphic Design for now (it might change later, who knows). But I was wondering what jobs will a BFA get me? I would love to work for a magazine or even work for a great designing company (even though I dont know any).

I would recommend you look into your state's requirement for teaching. In Texas, you can teach elementary through high school with a BFA, but you will also need to get your certification.

If teaching is not for you, then you will need to have an awesome portfolio by the time your done with school to get a job at a design firm. Remember that simply having the degree is not enough. An employer wants to see quality in your work. Get to know Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign very well.
