I would like to know what kills s***n, sperm, whatever you want to call it, other than saliva...

Me and my fiancee are Trying To Concieve....

I would like to know what kills s***n, so that we can avoid them during s*x....

For sure, avoid glycerine-based products (KY, Astroglide, etc.).  I also read that oil (baby oil, olive oil) and egg whites also impair sperm motility.  The only thing I've read about that is supposedly sperm-friendly is PreSeed.

lubricant such as KY jelly...if you need to use lubricant try Preseed. It aids in sperm motility and helps the little guys get to where they need to be :)

You're right -- saliva is hostile to sperm. Wrong pH value.

KY and other lubes can also kill sperm. There's an FDA investigation about that right now because their labeling is so waffly, but while it's not actually a spermicide, it can reduce sperm motility to zero. Avoid at all costs! Use PreSeed or Pré instead.

Also, unfertile cervical mucus is hostile to sperm, which is why the body makes EWCM right before ovulation (Google EWCM for more info).

Lubrication kills them too.  if you must use lubrication order som "pre seed" from the internet.  Have him take some Vitamin C and Zinc.  I highly reccomend Evening Primrose Oil for you.  Check the lable or look it up online to see if it is right for you.  Ask your doctor.  My surrogate and I tried it and it is AMAZING.  Try it for your self..it causes the uterus to contract.  Do not take past ovulation day though.  Baby Dust!!

EDIT:  Sperm being outside the body only kills sperm if it has been too long.  Sperm does not die when it hits air..if that were so than thousands of babies would not have been born via artificial insemination, IVF, or other related procedures.

preseed is the #1 ttc lubricant.. although au'naturale is best provided your hosting a habitable enviornment.

That's the first time I've heard of saliva killing sperm...as far as I know, only spermicide and being outside the body can kill sperm.

Yes saliva kills sperm! Any lubricants like Ky can kill sperm. The ONLY one that doesn't is called Preseed. It is the only one out there that is sperm friendly! I've never seen it in stores but it can be ordered. Will put a website below..

Also your fiancee should stay away from hot tubs etc...tight clothing and esp tight underware.

((Also make sure you s*x a day or two between s*x)) That will help to replenish sperm even more. :)
