  1. Sorry but if your tanks temperatures cold the only thing you can really get is goldfish there are some fresh and saltwater fish that like cold water but if you dont get a heater you will be VERY limited.

  2. If you're bored with goldfish and koi, what about turning your tank into a warm water tank?  You will need to get an underwater heater, which you can get at any pet store, and they are relatively inexpensive.  That way you can choose between many varieties of freshwater fish.  Chiclids, mollies, guaramis, guppies, etc.  Just make sure the tank mates are compatible.  For a compatibility chart, go to www.thatfishplace.com, and check out the chart under aquarium livestock.

  3. guppies they are cool

    start with about 10

and in a year tou will

    have a few hundreds

  4. Barbs, White Cloud Minnow, Blood Fin Tetras, Pearl Danio, Buenos Aires Tetra, and Zebra Danios are just a few.  theyre the only fish i can think of. but since you added a heater theyre are lots of tropical fish lik neons, glowlights, yellow tetras, black phantom tetras, red phantom tetras. all thos tropical fish are kept in schools.

  5. go to liveaquaria.com if u KNOW ANYTHING tropical fish cannot stay in a cold aquarium pretty much there is is goldfish and pond fish but if u get a heater def go to this site

  6. Depending on where you live, there are several of the sunfish family you can keep.  Other possibilities are darters,

    Sunfish:

Pumpkinseeds, bluegill, warmouths, long-eared and green eared sunfish, banded pygmy, as well as others.

    Darters:

Rainbow, logperch, Johnny, and others.  Some are bottom fish, othes dwell slightly above the bottom.

White Cloud Mountain minnows are also a cold water fish, but can tolerater warmer temps, so is sold as a tropical.

Same with danios, and both are generally sold as tropicals.

As for the crack, buy a sheet of glass the same dimensions as the bottom sheet now.  Thoroughly dry the tank, then let it air dry for a day.  Place the peel of the sealant around the old piece using a razor blade.  Try not to remove any of the the side sealant above the width of the new sheet.  Put a fine bead of aquarium silicone sealant along the edges of the bottom of the tank, that's where you peeled off the old sealant.  Carefully fit the new glass on top of the old glass, gently pressing into the sealant.  Put another bead of sealant along the edges of the new glass.  Gently a moist finger along the bead and up the corner a 1/2 inch or so.  Do this all the way around.  Let it cure for about 3 days, and TA-DA!  You're all set.

  7. All I can think of is White cloud mountain minnows. They are sometimes called white cloud tetras. They are from streams that are high up in some asian mountain range (not sure which one specifically). You could easily fit 15 in safely. They will school and create a beautiful effect. They will most likely breed too, which is always a bonus. There is no parental care though, so you would need to isolate the eggs in a separate 10 gallon tank for growing them out, if you so desire. You could always let the fry try to hide among the decorations until they grow big enough to live with the adults too, the chances of survival are much decreased though. They are peaceful, pretty fish that are hardy and great to keep!

    Good luck!

    I hope this helps!

Edit: This way you don't have to buy a heater, which will leave some money in your pocket, for decorations!

Edit 2: When I first started aquarium keeping I said that money wasn't an issue either...until I spent it all.
