What Kind Of Bag For College?

Heey, i will be starting college in 2 weeks, and i need a bag!

i want a cute one, like a nice fashion one, that will go with most clothes (because its own clothes)

i was thinking maybe like the pauls boutique kind? eg. http://www.thebaglady.tv/pauls.jpg --but different pattern.

is this kind of bag big enough for books and such?

i will be studying business, graphics, english lit and film studies, if this makes any difference to amount of books?

what sort of bags do people use? (not too expensive, £60 and below please)

I woudl consider a messenger bookbag.. maybe you can try Next... ummm... I cant think of any stores that wouldnt be too cheap.. good luck.

the absolute best bag for college is a two strap backpack with a slot built in for a laptop. even if you don't have the laptop, you can still put books in that area.

Messenger bags are great for fashion, until the one shoulder that you have it on bulks into football player size!

Books get heavy very quickly, and making a fashion statement is NOT why you go to class. When you go to a campus concert, party, bowling, whatever, then you can wear your fancy bag.

Listen, when I was in high school, I kept my shoes brilliantly white, my clothes stylish and new, etc. When I came to college I realized that all that stuff was a bit shallow and that most successful college students were much more into their studies than their appearances.

NOTE: I looked pretty good in both college and high school, but there were days that I came to class looking rough, or with a ripped backpack, etc.

If it's that major, get a backpack like the one I described and also get a fashionable messenger bag for the days you have a light workload.

Study hard, and congratulations! College is the perfect place to develop into your adulthood successfully.
