Question:

What Kind Of Frog/Toad this is?

I live in eastern canada (pei) and i found this frog at my construction site...and i desided i was going to keep him i got a terrium and everything what kind of toad (im guessing) or frog is he?

my job site is close to s cliff to the ocean, wooded area...

i kind of looked it up is it an americian frog?

  2. It is definetily a kind of toad. We can tell by its warty skin, as well as the large, protuding poison glands as well as its dry skin. It is probably the american toad or the cane toad. That one is small. I once caught one the size of my hand. Doing something really stupid, like l*****g it can kill dogs because of its poison. This one might cause minor irritation on your skin.

  3. I'm going to say it's a Folwer's Toad.

    There's several matching points, but the one I think is most telling is the pattern along the side; the dark curve around the ear, and the unbroken coffee stain where belly meets back.

  4. Too underexposed for me to make out details. However, from your location, it would have to be an American toad. (Fowler's toad is similar but doesn't occur that far north.)
