Hi I'm Thinking of Pursuing a career in oceanography or Marine biology, and I'm really interested in being in the water collecting samples, and recording data, not so much in the lab analyzing results. Is There such a career? Or am I thinking of an imaginary job?

  1. Sure.  You had it right.  You would probably want to get into Oceanography.  Marine Biology is mostly the study of marine animals. Oceanography is more what you want to do.  Good Luck.
