What Kind Of Shrubs?

What kind of nice shrubs could I plant in front of my house that would enhance the look of the frontal view of the house? I live in Massachusetts. Thank You to all who answer!

Hydrangea will grow well  and produce lots of flowers. Lilacs will also do well. Azaleas will not do very well (they need a warmer climate). Holly is a good evergreen that will do well there.

i like azalia and burning bush, hydrangia bushes are beautiful and come in alot of colors but they are expesive, around $10 each, google some pictures of lanscape bushes to help you decide, there are thousands.
