What Kind Of Skills Are The Peace Corps Looking For?

I'm going to have a B.A. in nursing, but I'm wondering if they even need nurses at all. What kind of skills do they need/are at a high demand?

  1. Training in medical care will definitely help your application. Other things they value:

    -- The ability to work in another language

    -- Experience training others

    -- Experience working with low-literacy populations

    -- Experience regarding treatment of people with HIV/AIDS, or education regarding HIV/AIDS

    -- Experience working with the elderly, people with disabilities, farmers, women, midwives...

    You also need to be debt-free.
