What Kind of Amp Wiring kit do i need?

I have a mono channel amplifier to power my subs its not hooked up yet because i do not know what type of amplifier wiring kit do i need. I know 4 guage is for about 1000 watts and thats what im looking at but what confuses me is they say there for 2 channel amplifiers. Will they still work for a Mono channel or what?

two channel and mono have nothing to due with what gage wire you go with. amp kits have a wattage rating  just like your amp if your amp is 1000 watts peak get a wiring kit rated for that or higher. mono just means it has one speaker output, two channel means it has 2 speaker output.
