  2. Rich food, lots of foods containing, cream, butter, cheese

  3. It varies from region to region, as it's quite a large country. The French are arguably some of the best cooks in the world and much of the really good international food is based on French techniques. On the whole French cusine is flavoured by vegetables and herbs rather than spices, as well as very good sauces, and it relies on high quality fresh produce. Potatoes and rice are the usual carbs, and seafood is extremely important. Cheese is a big item. Wine is used extensively in cooking. It would be impossible to try to give you an overview here, and any attempt wouldn't do it justice, so why not find a good French recipe book, or search online.

  4. French Fries French Toast, Croissants, etc....Just kidding!
