I am getting new pointe shoes soon and I want to know what kind would be good for me. My last pair were pretty good, They were Bloch Signature Rehearsals, and i liked them but they broke in kinda fast and I will be doing ALOT! of dancing this year, so i want something a little more sturdy. what kind of pointe shoes do you like and why? All my friends from class really like these bloch shoes (now i can't remember what they are called but they have this littlle jell pad in the inside. So should i get the same pointe shoes i had or get fitted again and see if there is something i like better?

  1. i just got some today!!!! get gayner minden!! they are my favorite!  i LOVE mine :]

GAYNOR MINDEN ALL THE WAY!! they fit any size feet!

  2. I can't really tell u over the internet but you could try freeds if u have a wide foot or gaynor mindens if u want them to last longer cause they last 2-3 times longer but if i was u i would go and get re fitted cause ur foot shape could of changed and gotten bigger

and there is no harm going to get re fitted

  3. The kind of shoes that I use are Grishko and I absolutely LOVE them!  Of course, they are made for thinner feet, so if you have skinny feet these would be good for you.  Try them on even if you have "normal" sized feet.  They have a hard shank and last me a long time.  Also, I have heard Russians are good.  Don't get Gaynors because they break in super super fast.

  4. DON'T GET GAYNOR MINDENS.....they come broken in!Just had to say that! For wide feet I have heard that blochs are good. I personally wouldnt get the kind with the gel thing on the inside because i like to feel the floor.I wear gamba pointe shoes, which are not a very well known brand but they are good for wide feet.I like gamba because i dont get blisters when i wear them, they are wide enough, not super super hard, andthey come with a 3 quarter shank or a full shank! I dance alot as well. They are decently sturdy. I would still suggest trying on alot of different brands at whatever store you go to.You never know if you'll find something you like!Hope i helped!

  5. try gaynor minden's.
